With over 65 classes offered 7 days a week, The Center supports your individual daily goals, whether you are in search of restorative yoga to assist with injury rehabilitation, a physical workout to build strength and flexibility, or relaxation after a stressful day.


 

CENTER FLOW

This class is offered in both our non-heated and heated studios (as indicated on our class schedule). This energizing steady paced class is aimed at the seasoned beginner and intermediate practitioners who are ready to expand their yoga practice. You will be led to mindfully integrate movement and breath.

 

 

POWER FLOW

Our Power Flow classes are sourced from the Baptiste Yoga Journey into Power sequence, a signature vinyasa flow based on Baptiste Power Yoga Methodology. Power Flow will tone, strengthen and rinse your body, clear your mind and leave you with a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. This powerful, energetic and playful style has a strong emphasis on breath and allows seasoned beginners, intermediate and advanced students to be challenged in the same class. This room is heated to a temp of 90 degrees.

 

 

CANDLE FLOW

This well-rounded evening class infuses candlelit ambiance and music with an intelligent sequence meant to help unravel the day and bring ease into the body, preparing for a restful night's sleep. Suitable for all levels, though we recommend that students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations.

 

 

SLOW FLOW

This class creates a grounding space where you'll hold and breathe through poses, challenging at times, in a powerful yet calming practice. This strong sweet offering provides you with the time and instruction necessary to move into accessible variations and explore the use of props as a support in various poses. This yogic blend of effort and ease is open to all practitioners, including maturing yogis and those working with injuries.

 

 

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle Yoga is a great choice for everyone interested in exploring a less strenuous practice including beginning students and those who might have some physical limitations. Class is taught at a relaxed pace with options, modifications and use of props. Emphasis is on safe and effective alignment as well as breath awareness, mindfulness and relaxation. You will build strength, increase balance, and enhance your well being.

 

 

YIN YOGA

This quiet, meditative practice focuses on the passive holding of postures for longer periods of time (3 to 5 minutes). Through deep relaxation, we release held tension in the muscles and connective tissue, encouraging the free flow of energy in the body. Longer holds and focused breathing give the bodymind time to slow down and drop into stillness, cultivating a meditative component of practice. This class is open to everyone and is a wonderful compliment to any movement practice, yoga or other modalities.

 

 

HATHA

Hatha is a potent alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. This class provides a combination of healthy alignment and the freedom to play within familiar and new poses. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of alignment and breath.

 

 

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Suitable for all levels. Our bodies have an innate ability to relax given the right circumstances. Restorative yoga uses a series of easy, supported poses held for a long time under the right conditions (including the use of many props) to tip the balance from “fight or flight” mode into maximum relaxation. Yogis developed these poses over many years, but science tells us that, under the conditions set in restorative yoga, immediate effects on heart rate, blood pressure and brain activity are possible. Emphasis on complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body. 

 

 

BOOTCAMP

This non-heated, 45-minute workout class is designed to strengthen you on the inside and out!  The use of dumbbells, bands, and your bodyweight will deliver an experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. Bring your mat. All are welcome!

 

 

CENTER BARRE

Barre is a class that combines elements of ballet, yoga and pilates and uses small micro movements to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt your body. This is a non-impact class suitable for all ages and fitness levels. 

 

 

PILATES SCULPT

HIIT (high-intensity interval training) Pilates provides a low impact workout that is high impact on your mood. This class is fun, challenging, and is a full body workout using Pilates principles. You’ll use equipment such as hand weights, bands, and gliders to sculpt and tone your entire body.  Arrive prepared to sweat to upbeat music.

 

 

AERIAL YOGA

This is an all-levels class that will leave you feeling free and light. The hammock is used as a prop to help you work through a series of standing postures, planks, and inversions allowing you to build heat, strength, and flexibility. Class concludes with savasana in the hammock for a truly blissful experience of being wrapped in silk, feeling safe and fully supported.  Bring your yoga mat and come experience the fun and freedom of aerial yoga!
